One day trip to "Muthathi forest"

Another sunday morning with sun getting hotter and hotter earlier in the day,we had planned for a one day trip. We had choosen "Muthathi forest" for our one day trip.We were about 7 of them .Myself (Ravi),Sukanta,Nagraj,Abhilash,Murali,Sanjib(virat) and Deepak.We had planned to travel in Abhilash's car (Toyoto Innova).

Our plan was to leave BTM layout at around 8:00 am and have breakfast on the way in kanakpura and reach Muthathi forest by 10:30 am.We took the kanakpura -sathanur route .The road was good for most of the way till sathanur.We had stopped in sathanur to have breakfast.It was a small town with very less options for good hotels ,we mangaed a light breakfast in one of the hotel there and left sathanur around 10:00am.

We were expecting to have a nice time from here on after leaving sathanur towards Muthathi forest. we started feeling the nice village atmosphere all around with fields and lakes on both sides of the road once we entered inside Sathanur and moved towards Muthati.

As we always get stuck in traffic jams in bangalore city. We also faced the same kind of traffic jams in sathnur village also, but this time it was not motor vehicles the below ones .

After managing through the traffic we started entering into the cauvery wildlife area, with lots of trees and hills on both sides of the road .But it was nothing like any other forest area's where we could sneak in and get a view of any wild animals .The roads were ok but narrow ones lots of vehicles were moving to and fro as it was sunday and lots of crowd were expected to come to tthis place .After about 16 kms of travel from sathanur we reached muthathi.

we liked the view of the river cauvery with lots of trees and hills surrounded .As expected there were lots of crowd in that place and we were not feeling that comfortable in that place .Than we parked the car and decided to go to the other side of the river where we found very less crowd .we took help of the boatmen over there and reached the other side of the river. we started feeling a lot comfortable there and started enjoying the river banks.

We played a little in water. We had a nice vodka drinks on the river banks spent a nice time chatting over there having a nice view of the river. Than we decided to play a game of cricket on the banks of the river .we were feeling as we were playning in one of the beaches , with sand all over the place on the river side and hot sun.

We had a nice game of cricket in which virat got injured. After the game we had drinks break and decided to leave the place as it was getting hotter before leaving the place we again decided to jump into water and get freshed up before leavin that place.

Than again we took the help of the boat man to come back to the place where we had parked the car and we decided to leave the place as it was getting hotter and hotter and more crowd coming in .At around 2:00pm we left Muthathi and decided to have lunch in one of the daaba's on the way towards bangalore . we reached bangalore around 4:00pm and all our friends started dispersing one by one .overall we had a nice time all day.
